Petitioner is a Government Contractor under the Kerala Water Authority. Petitioner executed several works and raised a bill. According to the petitioner, total amount due is more than `29,00,000/-. Petitioner approached this Court for disbursement of the above amount.
2. Learned Standing Counsel for the Water Authority submits that amount due to the petitioner is `23,48,355/-. There is a difference around six lakhs.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances, I am of the view, petitioner shall raise his entire claim with details. There upon, second and third respondent shall advert to the above claim and pass appropriate orders based on the claim of the petitioner. However, this will not stand in the way of authorities releasing the amount of `23,48,355/- to the petitioner. The admitted amount shall be released to the petitioner within a period three months in three monthly installments starting from 31.01.2015.
The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
