JUDGMENT / ORDER

Alleging that the properties belonging to the subject mentioned temple were illegally transferred to some third parties in the Survey Level Report (SLR), the petitioner has preferred a representation before the respondent on 11.04.2012, for necessary action and as the same is kept pending, without any action, the present petition came to be filed.
2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
3. According to this Court, when the authority receives a representation / petition, it is obligatory on their part to pass orders on the same, in one way or the other and keeping the same without taking any decision thereon is deprecated.
4. Under such circumstances, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.04.2012 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merit and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all the interested parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already passed.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
