Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned standing counsel for the State- respondents, Sri V.K. Shukla, learned counsel for respondent No.3 and Sri Ajeet Kumar Singh, learned counsel for respondent no.4.
This writ petition has been filed praying for the following relief:
"issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents, especially the respondent University Authorities to refund the amount of Non-productvity Linked Bonus (Ad-hoc Bonus) for the period 2006 to 31.03.2016 illegally and arbitrarily recovered from the salary/arrears payable to the petitioners, within reasonable time frame as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the representation of the petitioners may be decided by the respondent no.4, expeditiously, in accordance with law.
Sri V.K.Shukla, learned Counsel for respondent no.4 states that the grievance of the petitioners shall be considered by the respondent no.4 and an appropriate order shall be passed within a time bound period in accordance with law.
In view of the aforesaid, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.4 to thoroughly examine the representation of the petitioner dated 1.8.2017 and to pass an order strictly in accordance with law, within six weeks from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order along with copy of the representation dated 1.8.2017.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the claim of the petitioners.
