Heard Sri Chandra Prakash Kushwaha, for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The case of the petitioner is that even though he has completed all the formalities for electricity connection of tube-well, yet the same has not been sanctioned.
Learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents on instructions states that in view of the scheme of subsidy, it is only on the availability of the materials and as per seniority, connection for tube-well is provided. He further submits that as and when the petitioner falls within the said criteria, the connection for tube-well will be provided and meter be installed.
We are of the considered opinion that no useful purpose would be served by keeping this petition pending in view of the order, which the Court proposes to pass hereunder.
The writ petition is disposed of, with a direction that if the petitioner approaches the competent authority in respect of his grievance along with a copy of this order, the said authority shall endeavour to consider and dispose of the same, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a month from the date of receipt of this order, under intimation to petitioner.
