This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking to have O.P.(HMA) No.610/2014 pending before the Family Court, Pathanamthitta transferred to Family Court, Kottarakkara. 2. Suffice to say that, the marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent ran into rough weather and proceedings were initiated by the respondent as O.P.(HMA) No.610/2014 before the Family Court, Pathanamthitta for divorce.
3. The petitioner says that she is a resident of Kollam and she finds it extremely difficult to go over to Pathanamthitta on every occasion when the case is posted. She also points out that she is financially unsound and there is nobody to accompany her. Therefore, she prays for transfer of the matter pending before the Family Court, Pathanamthitta to Family Court, Kottarakkara.

4. The petition is opposed by the learned counsel for the respondent.
5. Since it is difficult for the petitioner to travel to Pathanamthitta to attend the case, it will be fair and appropriate that the matter pending before the Family Court, Pathanamthitta is transferred to Family Court, Kottarakkara.
In the result, this petition is allowed. O.P.(HMA) No.610/2014 pending before the Family Court, Pathanamthitta shall stand transferred to Family Court, Kottarakkara.
