JUDGMENT / ORDER

The sum and substance of the grievance of the petitioner is that respondents 3 and 4 have allotted a tender in favour of the fifth respondent without following the due procedure which also prevented the petitioner from taking part in the auction. The petitioner has made a representation to the first respondent on 10.04.2017 in this regard. Seeking consideration of the same in a time bound manner, the present writ petition has been filed.
2.Heard Mr.S.Gunaseelan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4.
3.Considering the relief sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.04.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after due notice to the petitioner and the fifth respondent apart from the official respondents, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
