In compliance of order of the Writ-Court dated 19.9.2017, it is stated by Sri Neeraj Upadhyay, learned Addl. Chief Standing Counsel that a meeting of the Gram Panchayat was convened on 19 March 2018, in which a resolution has been passed for compassionate appointment of the petitioner as Fair Price Shop dealer in place of her husband. The written instructions received in this regard from Up Zila Adhikari, Padrauna, has also been placed on record.
In view of the said fact, this Court is of the opinion that no purpose will be served in proceeding any further in the instant matter.
The contempt application is accordingly consigned.
