Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the respondent nos.1 to 3.
Since, the facts of the case are not in dispute, with the consent of the learned counsel for the parties present, this writ petition is finally disposed of.
The grievance of the petitioners is that they are entitled to be alloted plot nos.32 area 1.3520 over which they are in possession since year 1960 under the Government Grant Act and they have already filed representations in this regard before the respondent no.2 on 14.2.2011 (annexure nos.8 to 11 to the writ petition).
The grievance of the petitioners is that no order has been passed by the respondent no.2 on the petitioners representations till date and a prayer has been made that a suitable direction be issued to him to decide the petitioners representation pending before him within a stipulated period.
To the aforesaid prayer learned Standing Counsel has no objection provided some reasonable time is given to the respondent no.2 to decide the representations filed by the petitioner on 14.2.2011.
In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2 to decide the representations filed by the petitioner on 14.2.2011 in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
