By order dated 7.3.2018 in Writ-A No.7282 of 2018 filed by the applicant, this Court directed the District Inspector of Schools, Ballia and Director of Secondary Education, U.P., Lucknow to decide the claim of the applicants within two months from the date of communication of the order.
Counsel for the applicants submitted that a copy of order of the Writ-Court was submitted in the office of Additional Director of Education (Secondary) on 14.3.2018 and was also sent to him by registered post. However, no representation has been made to the opposite party, who is the competent authority to decide the claim.
Accordingly, this Court is not inclined to initiate contempt proceeding at this stage and leaves it open to the applicants to serve copy of order of the Writ-Court alongwith fresh representation upon the opposite party and whereafter the opposite party shall be bound by the direction given by the Writ-Court.
The contempt application stands disposed of with the above observation.
