JUDGMENT / ORDER

[1] The applicant has preferred this application for grant of furlough leave.
[2] Learned advocate for the applicant has placed on record affidavit of brother of the applicant convict, which is ordered to be taken on record. As per this affidavit, brother of the applicant convict is willing to stand as surety. Brother of the applicant is residing at Surat with his family members and he is owner of immovable property at Surat. Relevant documents are also placed on record along with the affidavit.
[3] Considering the fact that applicant is in jail since more than three years and his jail record is good and considering above aspects, the applicant convict is granted furlough leave for a period of fourteen (14) days, from the date of his release, on furnishing a personal bond of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only), on the usual terms and conditions and to the satisfaction of the jail authority and on completion of the period of furlough, the applicant shall surrender in time before the jail authority.
[4] In view of above, this application is partly allowed. Direct service is permitted.
