Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The petitioner is aggrieved by the order dated 19.06.2018 passed by the respondent no. 2 (Managing Director, U.P. Forest Corporation, Indira Nagar, Lucknow).
Shri V.K.Singh, learned Senior Counsel assisted by Shri S. Shekhas has raised a preliminary objection with regard to the maintainability of the writ petition as according to him, the petitioner has statutory remedy available by filing an appeal to the Board of Governors of the Corporation against the order of termination.
Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the controversy, this writ petition is dismissed only on the ground of maintainability as statutory remedy is available to the petitioner which he has not availed.
The petitioner is directed to file his appeal before the Board of Governors of the Corporation within three weeks from today. In case the appeal is filed within the aforesaid period, the same shall be entertained by the Appellate Authority on merits and decide the same by reasoned and speaking order within a further period of twelve weeks.
