[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention, dated 24.02.2017 in M.H.S.Confdl No.26/2017, detaining the detenu as "GOONDA", as contemplated under the sub Section (1) of Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Prevention of dangerous activities of Boot leggers, Cyber Law Offenders, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Sexual Offenders, Slum grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14/1982.
2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.1780 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 17.04.2017, and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, the petition is dismissed.
