The petitioner is the accused in S.C. No.1000/2000 of District and Sessions Court, Kasaragod. Offences alleged are under sections 366 and 354 r/w 34 of IPC and section 3 (1)(x) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
2. The defacto complainant is the 1st respondent.
She is represented by her counsel.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the complainant was taken in the autorickshaw to her house as requested by her and that the allegation that the accused kidnapped her with intent to have sexual intercourse with her, is not true.
4. The learned counsel for the complainant also submits that the entire matter has been settled and so the complainant does not want to proceed with the matter.

Now the case is pending as L.P. No.1/2013 before District and Sessions Judge, Kasaragod.
3. Taking note of the settlement so arrived at, further proceedings in L.P. No.1/2013 before District and Sessions Judge, Kasaragod, is quashed.
