Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned AGA appearing for the State respondents. A perusal of the impugned FIR, in our view, prima facie discloses commission of cognizable offence against the petitioners, hence there is no reason to quash the same. Prayer for quashing the F.I.R. in Case Crime No. 378 of 2010 under Sections 3/8 Cow Slaughter Act and 11 of Animal Cruelty Act, P.S. Kokhraj, District Kaushambi, is rejected. If the petitioners namely Pappu @ Mohd. Tahir and Guddu @ Mohd. Mutaque surrender before the Court below within two weeks from today and move bail application before the Court concerned, the same shall be disposed of expeditiously. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
