JUDGMENT / ORDER

Prayer in all W.Ps: Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to classify and granting patta to him for his possessed Lands situated in Survey No.546 and 561 of Thuvarankurichi Village, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District according to law based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.10.2016. Prayer in W.P.(MD).No.2005 of 2017: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to classify and granting patta to him for his possessed Lands situated in Survey No.546 and 561 of Thuvarankurichi Village, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District according to law based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.10.2016.
Prayer in W.P.(MD).No.2006 of 2017: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to classify and granting patta to petitioner's for his possessed Lands situated in Survey No.546 and 561 of Thuvarankurichy Village, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District according to law based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.10.2016.
In all these writ petitions, the respective writ petitioners seek for a mandamus directing the respondents to grant patta in respect of the lands referred to in the writ petitions, based on their individual representations.
2.Needless to say that it is for the respondents, more particularly, the third respondent to consider and decide as to whether the petitioners are entitled to get patta in respect of the subject land or not.
3.Therefore, this Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioners. However, as their representations are said to be pending consideration, I only direct the third respondent to consider those representations of the petitioners, dated 25.10.2016 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with Law, also after hearing the interested parties or rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the third respondent within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.With the above direction, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
