JUDGMENT / ORDER

The Supreme Court has in N. Anantha Reddy Vs. Anshu Kathuria & others [2014 SAR (Civil) 1] held as follows:
“9. x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x The review jurisdiction is extremely limited and unless there is mistake apparent on the face of the record, the order/judgment does not call for review. The mistake apparent on record means that the mistake is self evidence, needs no search and stares at its face. Surely, review jurisdiction is not an appeal in disguise. The review does not permit rehearing of the matter on merits.”
2. The review petitioner now attempts a rehearing of the Regular Second Appeal in the case on review. Some documents allegedly obtained under the Right to Information Act are pressed into service. The documents do not advance the case of the review petitioner at all. Such an exercise of re-agitating the matter on the basis of additional documents produced cannot be permitted also.
2 RP No. 335/2013 in RSA No. 306/2009 There is no error apparent on the face of the record. The Review Petition is dismissed.
