THESE WRIT PETITIONS COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
O R D E R These writ petitions are directed against the notices dated 4.4.2013 issued by the District Magistrate, Hassan directing the petitioners to appear and to explain why order of externment be passed against them directing them to reside to leave out of Hassan District and to be in Bidar/Gulbarga District during the Assembly Election, 2013 which is conducted in the month of May 2013.
2. The learned AGA appearing for the respondents submits that the order of externment was passed against the petitioners only during Assembly Election, 2013 which is conducted in the month of May 2013. Hence, these petitions do not survive for consideration.
3. Submission of the learned AGA is placed on record.
4. The petitioners have the benefit of the interim order granted by this Court on 19.4.2013.
5. Accordingly, the writ petitions are dismissed as having become infructuous.
