Aggrieved by the order of punishment, petitioner has preferred an appeal on 7.1.2021 which is pending before respondent no. 3. The only prayer made in this petition is to command the appellate authority to decide the pending appeal expeditiously.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that in case petitioner's appeal has not been decided, the same shall be decided by the authority concerned, expeditiously.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, it would be appropriate to dispose of this petition requiring the respondent no. 3 to dispose of petitioner's pending appeal by way of a reasoned order, within a period of two months from the date of presentation of copy of this order Order Date :- 24.8.2021 n.u.
