(Per : HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE V. M. SAHAI) We have heard Mr. K.S. Nanavati, learned Senior Counsel assisted by Mr. K.K. Nanavati learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Senior Counsel Mr. Nanavati states that similar matters are coming up for final disposal on 13.7.2012.
Hence, issue notice to the respondents for final disposal returnable on 13.7.2012. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, we direct the respondent
- Revenue that no coercive steps would be taken against the petitioner and the petitioner is directed to keep the sum of Rs.10,60,907/- i.e. the amount mentioned in the demand notice dated 31.3.2012 in its Bank account separately and the petitioner is directed not to utilize the said amount so that in case the petition is dismissed, immediately the tax can be paid. Direct service is permitted.
