Present Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed seeking direction to the Regional Director, Northern Region, Regional Committee, National Council for Teachers Education, New Delhi, respondent No.2 to decide the claim of the petitioners as per representation/application dated 10.5.2019 seeking correction of records by replacing the name of erstwhile Committee of Management of respondent Society with the name of the petitioners.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that vide order dated 31.7.2012 recognition was granted to the Gold Crest College of Education & Research (B.Ed), Manauwa Khaniyara Lalganj, Azamgarh for running D-El.Ed classes. Said recognition was granted by the Regional Director, Northern Region, Regional Committee, National Council for Teachers Education, New Delhi, respondent No.2. Subsequently, by the resolution of the respondent Society, management of the Institution was transferred in favour of the Petitioners' Society including the objection, permission and recognition in this regard from the National Council for Teachers Education. Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that in this regard petitioners have filed representation dated 10.5.2019, which is remained pending till date.
On the other side Shri Dhananjay Awasthi, learned counsel for the respondent No.2 states that he has no objection in case direction be issued to the Regional Director, Northern Region, Regional Committee, National Council for Teachers Education, New Delhi, respondent No.2 to decide the representation of the petitioners expeditiously.
Under these facts and circumstances of the case, direction is issued to the Regional Director, Northern Region, Regional Committee, National Council for Teachers Education, New Delhi, respondent No.2 to take decision on the petitioners' application dated 10.5.2019, appended as Annexure-4 to the Writ Petition, as early as possible.
