1. This writ petition has been filed with a limited prayer for issuance of a direction to the Commissioner, Azamgarh Region, Azamgarh to decide the Appeal No. C 20171500345 (345 of 2017) preferred by the petitioner against order dated 14.10.2016 passed by the Licensing Authority cancelling the Fair Price Shop Licence of the petitioner.
2. This Appeal is said to be pending before the Appellate Authority since January, 2017.
3. Accordingly without entering into the merits of the controversy the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Appellate Authority to consider and decide the Appeal pending before him since January, 2017 within a period of four weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
