This Criminal Petition is filed to quash FIR in Crime No.331 of 2011 of Steel Plant Law and Order Police Station, Visakhapatnam for alleged offence under section 3 (1) (x) of SCs and STs [Prevention of Atrocities] Act, 1989 read with section 323 and 324 of IPC.
2. Heard both sides.
3. Learned Public Prosecutor submitted that Police after completion of investigation filed charge sheet and the same is numbered as CC.No. 672 of 2013.
4. Since Police have completed investigation and filed charge sheet and the same is numbered as CC.No. 672 of 2013, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as ‘infructuous’ giving liberty to the petitioner to challenge the charge sheet.
8. As a sequel, miscellaneous petition if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
