Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other writ, order or direction in the nature of writ directing the respondents to issue transport permits to transport granite blocks from granite quarry measuring 5-02-0 Hectares, comprised in Survey New No.3, (Old No.417), situated in Semangalam Village, Vanur Taluk, Villupuram District.
For Petitioner : Mr.K.Ramakrishna Reddy For Respondent : Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan Additional Government Pleader O R D E R The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and hence the writ petition may be dismissed as infructuous. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the petition.
2. Recording the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
