JUDGMENT / ORDER

ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“to issue an appropriate order or direction more particularly in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring G.O.Ms.No.11, Agriculture and Co- Operation (Mktg.I) Department, dated 18.08.2014 issued by respondent No.1 whereby and whereunder the term of the office of the petitioners as Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Members of the Agriculture Market Committees was ordered to the effect that they ceased to hold the office and respondent No.2 was directed to appoint person or persons to perform the functions of the Market Committee till the market committee is re- constituted under Section 5 of the Act, as illegal and arbitrary and consequently, to direct the respondents to continue the petitioners as members of the Agriculture Market Committee, Kodad, Nalgonda District, till the expiry of the term of their office.”
On the petitioners’ own showing, G.O.Ms.No.11, Agriculture and Co-Operation (Mkt.I) Department, dated 18.08.2014, was issued by respondent No.1 following and in pursuance of Telangana Ordinance No.1 of 2014, dated 16.08.2014. The petitioners have not challenged the said Ordinance. Unless the petitioners challenge the said Ordinance, they cannot maintain this Writ Petition only to question the consequential Government Order, viz., G.O.Ms.No.11, Agriculture and Co-Operation (Mkt.I) Department, dated 18.08.2014.
In this view of the matter, the Writ Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh Writ Petition, if they are so advised, questioning the above- mentioned Ordinance.
As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, W.P.M.P.No.32239 of 2014 filed by the petitioners for interim relief stands dismissed as infructuous.
