1. Called in revise. None appeared on behalf of the petitioner to press this writ petition. Learned Standing Counsel is present for respondents.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has sought following reliefs:
"Issue a writ of certiorari for quashing the order of dismissal from service dated 19.2.99 (Annexure No.17) passed by Administrator Sadhan Sahkari Samiti Ltd. Nanheda Gazi, Saharanpur and order of appellate authority dated 04.09.2000 as communicated by letter dated 19.10.2000 (Annexure No.23) passed by District Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Societies, U.P., Saharanpur and further the respondents be directed to reinstate the petitioner on the post held by him at the time of dismissal from service with all the consequential benefits including back wages attached to the post."
3. I myself have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioner is not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting reliefs, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioner has lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits and that is why, counsel for petitioner is absent.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
