THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR ORDERS, THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER The petitioner herein is said to be the owner of land bearing Sy.No.78 measuring to an extent of 1 acre in Chokkasandra village, Nandagudi Hobli, Hoskote taluk, Bengaluru Rural District. The grievance of the petitioner herein is that the revenue records with reference to aforesaid 1 acre is not registered in his name inspite of several representations made. The earlier application is at Annexure ‘C’ dated 02.03.2007 and the latest of which is dated 29.12.2015 which is at Annexure ‘E’.
2. When this Court called upon the second respondent - Tahsildar to file an affidavit with reference to the stage of the application, an affidavit is filed this day, which is taken on record, would indicate that the deponent Sri Narayana Vittal having taken charge as Tahsildar on 18.08.2016 was not aware of the application being pending and since the same being brought to his notice after service of summons in this proceedings he has filed an affidavit undertaking to complete the formality of transferring the katha within 60 days from today. His undertaking is placed on record.
3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
However, it is made clear if the transfer of katha does not take place within 60 days from today, the petitioner is at liberty to file an application reviving the petition seeking further directions in this regard.
