JUDGMENT / ORDER

HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY WRIT PETITION No.29712 of 2014 Date:07.10.2014 Between:
Padma Reddappa, S/o Venkata Subbarayudu . Petitioner And:
The State of A.P., reptd by its Secretary, Consumer Affairs, Food and Civil Supplies (CSI) Department, Hyderabad and two others.
. Respondents Counsel for the Petitioner: Sri Sri K.Srinivas Counsel for the Respondents: AGP for Civil Supplies Of Government of Andhra Pradesh The Court made the following:
ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to set aside proceedings in Ref.B/5176/2014, dated 26.08.2014, of respondent No.2, whereby he has suspended the petitioner’s fair price shop authorisation of Kummarampalli Village, Vempalli Mandal, YSR Kadapa District.
At the hearing, Sri K.Srinivas, learned counsel for the petitioner, has not disputed that under Clause-20 of the Andhra Pradesh State Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2008, the petitioner has an alternative remedy of appeal against the order impugned in this Writ Petition.
In view of availability of this alternative remedy, which, in my opinion, is efficacious, I am not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed without adjudicating on the legality or otherwise of the impugned order, with liberty to the petitioner to avail the remedy of appeal.
As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, W.P.M.P.No.37092 of 2014 filed by the petitioner for interim relief stands dismissed as infructuous.
