The complaint of the petitioner is regarding the non consideration of Ext.P2 petition submitted under Section 28A of the Land Acquisition Act. According to the petitioner, Ext.P2 was submitted on 15.4.1998. Ext.P3 is the postal receipt for despatch of the said petition. The learned Govt.Pleader, on instructions, submits that the delay is due to the fact that a number of such petitions are pending consideration before the second respondent. Since Ext.P2 petition could not be traced, a direction to the petitioner to submit a fresh copy thereon is also sought. The Govt.Pleader assures that the petitioner's petition would be considered within a short time.
2. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider WP(C).No.23971/2012.
2 Ext.P2 petition in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of three months of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The petitioner shall produce a fresh copy of Ext.P2 petition before the second respondent along with a copy of this judgment for compliance.
