JUDGMENT / ORDER

The first respondent passed an order dated 3 February 2017 in compliance of the direction issued by this Court in W.P.No.27924 of 2014.
2. The learned Standing Counsel for the fourth respondent submitted that in case a proposal is made by the first respondent, necessary authorization will be given by the Accountant General, authorizing the concerned treasury to make payment to the petitioner.
3. The petitioner is stated to be 96 years old now. The petitioner must enjoy the benefits of the litigation in her life time. The first respondent is directed to send necessary proposal within a period of one week from today to the fourth respondent. The fourth respondent is directed to pass orders, authorizing the concerned treasury to make payment to the petitioner, within a period of one week thereafter.
4. I place on record the services rendered by Mr.K.Venkataramani, learned Additional Advocate General and Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader by taking earnest steps to comply with the order, and thereby to help a senior citizen.
5. Since the first respondent has passed orders pursuant to the direction of this Court, personal appearance of the respondents is dispensed with.
6. The contempt petition is closed.
