JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner has approached this Court complaining that his vehicle was seized on the allegation of violating the provisions of the Kerala Protection of River Banks and Regulation of Removal of Sand Act, 2001. According to the petitioner, he had not committed any such violation whereas he was only transporting ordinary sand from Karnataka.
2. Whatever that may be, the competent authority to consider and dispose of the claim of the petitioner is the 2nd respondent and the petitioner has to approach the 2nd respondent for necessary orders.
In the result, this writ petition is disposed of as under:
Petitioner shall make a request to the 2nd respondent for adjudication of the disputes with reference to the aforesaid seizure and on receiving the same, the 2nd W.P.C.No.14123/2014 2 respondent shall pass necessary interim orders within a period of two weeks and final orders shall be passed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. While considering the same, the 2nd respondent shall also take into consideration the Full Bench judgment of this Court in Shan.C.T. v. State of Kerala [2010(3) KLT 413].
