Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief -
"(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.1 to decide the mutation case No.1077/288-1-1-13 (Passpati alias Baasmati Versus Lal Babu), under Section 34 of Land Revenue Act, pending before the Court of Tehsildar, Tehsil Kasia, District Kushinagar within a stipulated period."
It is stated that a mutation case filed by the petitioner is pending consideration since the year 2012.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.1, Tehsildar, Tehsil Kasia, District Kushinagar to endeavour to decide the mutation case of the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before the respondent no.1.
