…Respondent (By Smt.Sheela Deepak, Advocate for C/R - absent) This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the respondent Bank to consider the representation filed by the petitioner on 07.12.2018 to extend the time to pay the amount under one time settlement vide Annexure-D and etc.
This Writ Petition coming on for Orders, this day, the Court made the following:-
ORDER None for the parties.
2. In this petition, the petitioner inter alia seeks for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent Bank to consider the representation filed by the petitioner on 07.12.2018 and extend the time to pay the amount under One Time Settlement Scheme vide Annexure-D.
3. Accordingly, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to respondent to consider and decide the representation submitted by the petitioner, if not already decided, in accordance with law by a speaking order within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today. Ordered accordingly.
4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
