JUDGMENT / ORDER

THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY WRIT PETITION No.31673 of 2014 Dated: 21.10.2014 Between:
P.Sudarshanamma and another .. Petitioners And The State of Andhra Pradesh, rep. by its Principal Secretary, Panchayat Raj Department, Secretariat, Hyderabad, and others. .. Respondents Counsel for the Petitioners: Mr. Suresh Kumar Reddy Kalava Counsel for Respondent No.1: AGP for Panchayat Raj (A.P) Counsel for Respondent No.2: AGP for Revenue (A.P) This Court made the following:
ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed with a two-fold grievance, viz., that respondent Nos.1 to 3 are proposing to grant permission for digging bore- well by respondent Nos.6 and 7 and respondent Nos.4 and 5 are likely to sanction service connection to the proposed bore-well, without considering the petitioners’ legal notice dated 13.09.2014.
At the hearing, Mr. Suresh Kumar Reddy Kalava, learned counsel for the petitioners, submitted that making true the petitioners’ apprehension, respondent No.2 has allowed respondent Nos.6 and 7 to dig the bore-well and that his clients may take appropriate steps for questioning the said action. He has, however, stated that as service connection has not been sanctioned so far by respondent Nos.4 and 5, the said respondents may be directed to consider the petitioners’ legal notice, before taking a decision on the application of respondent Nos.6 and 7 for sanction of power supply.
As I find the grievance of the petitioners innocuous, respondent Nos.4 and 5 are directed to consider legal notice, dated 13.09.2014, stated to have been issued on behalf of the petitioners, in the light of the terms and conditions/regulations governing sanction of service connection for agricultural purpose, before taking a decision on the application of respondent Nos.6 and 7 for sanction and release of power supply.
Subject to the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
As a sequel, WPMP.No.39594 of 2014 filed by the petitioners for interim relief stands disposed of as infructuous.
