Public Prosecutor ORDER The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide police protection during Kumbabishekam festival in the Arulmugu Mariamman and Karuparayan Temple existing at Nallurpalayam, Palladam Taluk, Thiruppur District on 02.03.2017 and to the public who are participating in the Kumbabishekam.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there is a dispute between the petitioner and the other group and a case was also filed in Crime No.176 of 2017 and the same is pending before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruppur.
3. In such circumstances, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted and it is always open to the petitioner to file a petition before the appropriate civil Court to redress his grievances.
4. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
