Public Prosecutor ORDER The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and property situated in Survey No.394, Door No.3A-1, Nehru Nagar, Ganapathi Village, Coimbatore Taluk and District.

It is the case of the petitioner that he purchased a property situated in Survey No.394, Door No.3A-1, Nehru Nagar, Ganapathi Village, Coimbatore Taluk and District from one Ramesh on 29.9.2015 for a valid sale consideration and the same got registered vide document No.6131 of 2015 before the SRO, Ganapathy. However, even after execution of the sale deed, the said Ramesh along with his wife demanded more money than the sale consideration. Since the petitioner did not pay more money, the said Ramesh is threatening him and often disturbing his peaceful possession and enjoyment of the said property. In this regard, the petitioner has lodged a complaint with the respondent police through registered post on 18.4.2016. But, so far, no action was taken on the said complaint. Hence, the petition.
3. It is the main grievance of the petitioner that after purchase of the said land, the vendor Ramesh is insisting more money than the sale consideration. Since he is being harassed by the said Ramesh, he lodged a complaint with the respondent. But, no action was taken on the said complaint.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, this Court directs the petitioner to approach the second respondent and furnish a copy of the complaint dated 18.4.2016 along with a copy of this order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such production, the same shall be considered and necessary action shall be initiated by the second respondent within a period of four weeks thereafter. The criminal original petition is ordered accordingly.
