This Criminal Original Petition is filed to call for the records in Crime No.912 of 2015 on the file of the first respondent herein and quash the same.
2. The issue is related to offences punishable under Sections 294 and 323 of the Indian Penal Code, which are compoundable offences.
3. The petitioner appeared before this Court and filed an affidavit stating that the dispute has been amicably settled between him and the second respondent / de facto complainant. The second respondent also appeared in person and filed an affidavit stating that the dispute between him and the petitioner has been settled amicably.
4. Recording the submissions made and also taking into consideration the affidavits filed by the petitioner as well as the second respondent that the dispute between them has been settled, the First Information Report in Crime No.912 of 2015 on the file of the first respondent is quashed and the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
