Balakrishna, AGA for R1) … Respondents This Writ Petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India praying to prohibit the R-1 police from visiting the house of the petitioner and harassing the petitioner, his business partners and his family members and not to make any phone calls to the petitioner or his partners without due process of law and etc., This Writ Petition coming on for Orders, this day, the Court made the following:-
ORDER None for the petitioner.
Sri. B. Balakrishna, learned Additional Government Advocate for respondent No.1.
In this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:
“1. Issue a Writ in the nature of prohibition, prohibiting the respondent No.1 Police from visiting the house of the petitioner and harassing the petitioner, his business partners and his family members and not to make any phone calls to the petitioner or his partners without due process of law.
2. To kindly refer the said dispute to the Lok Adalat as the petitioner is ready and willing to settle the matter with respondent No.2.”
2. When the matter was taken up today, Sri. B. Balakrishna, learned Additional Government Advocate submitted that in case the petitioner submits a representation with regard to his grievance to the concerned Superintendent of Police, the aforesaid authority shall look into the matter and shall deal with the grievance of the petitioner in accordance with law.
3. In view of the aforesaid submission and in the facts of the case, the petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner that in case the petitioner submits a representation to the concerned Superintendent of Police, the aforesaid authority shall deal with the grievance of the petitioner expeditiously in accordance with law.
4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
