JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the trial in S.C.No.106 of 2014 on the file of the learned District and Sessions Judge, Tiruvannamalai to some other nearby District and also to complete the trial within a stipulated time.

2. This Court, by Order dated 13.03.2017, directed the trial Court to submit an explanation for the inordinate delay in disposing of the case in S.C No.106 of 2014. Accordingly, the explanation dated 17.03.2017 came to be placed before this Court and I have perused the same.
3. Though the reasons adduced therein may not be accepted, but to give quietus, this Court is inclined to direct the Sessions Judge to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible. Accordingly, the learned District and Sessions Judge, Tiruvannamalai District is directed to dispose of the case in S.C.No.106 of 2017 on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible within a period of six months and the said trial shall go on day to day basis. With the above direction, the criminal original petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Crl.M.P is closed.
