Heard the learned counsels appearing for both the parties.
2. The prayer in the writ petition is as follows:-
“To issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned lease auction notice No.Go 9/2006 dated 10.05.2006 issued by the second respondent herein, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to renew the lease for further period of 1 year by accepting the payment of 15% of the enhanced lease amount by considering the petitioner's renewal application dated 05.01.2006.”
3. Since the extension which is sought for the renewal of lease has already been expired as early as on 2006 and 2007, nothing survives for consideration as on today before this Court. Therefore the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
