2. It is the case of the petitioner that as against one Murugasan and 8 others, the petitioner has lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 08.02.2017 and the same was registered in Crime No.34 of 2017 under sections 147, 448, 294(b), 323 IPC and Section 4 of Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act 2002. But till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.
3. I have heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.34 of 2017 and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
