For Petitioner : Mr.S.Udayakumar ORDER This civil revision petition has been filed challenging the Election Original Petition No.17 of 2006, dated 28.07.2011 and the said Election Original Petition was dismissed with costs, though the learned Judge has stated that the petitioner has not proved that the candidates have indulged in corrupt practice as enumerated as per Section 260 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994, dismissed the Election Original Petition with costs of Rs.2,500/-.
2. Challenging the said Election Original Petition No.17 of 2006 dated 28.07.2011, for the year 2006-2011, which was held on 13.10.2006, this civil revision petition filed and admittedly it is infructuous. Hence, while confirming the order passed by the learned Election Tribunal, District Court, Tiruvannamalai in O.P.No.17 of 2006, dated 28.07.2011, this Court while dismissing the Civil Revision Petition, confirming the order in O.P.No.17 of 2006, dated 28.07.2011, but setting aside the order of the cost.
3. Accordingly, this civil revision petition is dismissed as infructuous, but the order of cost was set aside.
