This writ petition has been filed for a direction that the Securitization Application No. 203 of 2020 and the Securitization Application No. 248 of 2019 be decided by the Debt Recovery Tribunal within a stipulated period of time.
On 27.7.2020, the Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal had directed the DRT that the Securitization Application No. 203 of 2020 and the Securitization Application No. 248 of 2019 be decided.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that ever since the remand order, the applications have not been decided for one reason or the another.
Sri Krishna Mohan Asthana learned counsel for the DRT has submitted that if the petitioner moves an application for expeditious decision every effort shall be made to decide the case.
Under such circumstances, the petitioner may make an application before the DRT and, thereafter, looking in to its roster the DRT shall decide the Securitization Application No. 203 of 2020 and the Securitization Application No. 248 of 2019 expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
