The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to grant permission and protection to conduct programme at Lord Arulmighu Thirowbathi Amman Temple at Sellathur Village, R.K.Pet Post, Pallipet Taluk, Tiruvallur District to be held on 04.06.2017 from 08.00 pm to 10.00 pm.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of the representation being given to the respondents on 25.05.2017 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 04.06.2017, the respondent has not passed orders till today.
3. A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same.
4. Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.05.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 03.06.2017.
5. With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
