This Contempt Case is filed alleging the disobedience by the respondents of the orders dated 28-01-2014 passed by this Court in W.P.No.35642 of 2013.
When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader for Irrigation stated that the bills of the contempt petitioner were processed and amounts were paid to the petitioner. The learned Government Pleader also brought to notice of this court the relevant portion of the counter affidavit wherein it is stated that L.S.I and part bill for the work of “Construction of Community Hall at Akkampally R & R Centre” in respect of M/s. P. Laxmaiah & Co was paid vide PAO voucher No.601, dated 26-07- 2014 for the net amount of Rs.19,67,058/- and the gross amount of the bill is Rs.21,71,612/-. No reply affidavit is filed.
In view of the fact that the order of this court has been complied with as stated in the counter affidavit, the Contempt Case is closed. No costs.
