ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“…to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of “Writ of Mandamus” declaring the action of the 7th respondent in not allotting the seats in M.Tech (DECS) Course in 8th respondent institution in spite of petitioners opting 8th Respondent institution during the 2nd phase of counselling despite the availability of seats in the 8th respondent institution as being illegal, arbitrary unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents 7 and 8 to forthwith allot and admit the petitioners in M.Tech (DECS) Course under Convenor Quota and further direct the respondents to grant/reimburse scholarships to the petitioners as is being done to the students under Convenor Quota and treat the admissions of petitioners as valid for all other purposes.”
Sri P.Pandu Ranga Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners, addressed letter, dated 18.12.2014, to the Registrar (Judicial), wherein he has stated that the petitioners have instructed him to withdraw the writ petition. At the hearing, Sri P.Narayana Swamy, learned counsel, representing Sri P.Pandu Ranga Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners, reiterated the said request.
In view of the same, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.48649 of 2014 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
