ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“to issue a writ of Mandamus and declare the action of the respondents in detaining the petitioner/s in B.E. 2nd year/3rd year as illegal and arbitrary and consequently, to direct the respondents to permit the petitioners to prosecute their studies by permitting them to attend the classes of B.E. 2nd/3rd year Ist semester/4th year 1st semester and consequently, to direct the respondents to permit the petitioners to appear for the main examinations as well as the supplementary examinations for the back log subjects.”
At the hearing, it is not disputed by learned counsel for both the parties that the issue similar to that raised in the Writ Petition was decided by this Court, vide Writ Petition No.29245 of 2014, dated 19.11.2014.
For the same reasons as contained in the aforesaid order, this Writ Petition is dismissed with the direction that the reasons contained therein shall form part of this order. As a sequel, interim order, dated 17.09.2014, is vacated and W.P.M.P.No.34400 2014 and WVMP.No.3281 of 2014 are dismissed as infructuous.
