By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and pass orders on his representations dated 21.06.2017 and 03.07.2017 within a time frame.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the 2nd respondent has not considered the petitioner's representations dated 21.06.2017 and 03.07.2017. Therefore, the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the same and pass orders, in accordance with law.
4. Mr.L.P.Shanmuga Sundaram, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to dispose of the petitioner's representations and pass orders, in accordance with law, within a time frame.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 21.06.2017 and 03.07.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
