JUDGMENT / ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.JAICHANDREN, J.]
Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.
2. This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the husband of the detenu praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a direction to the respondent, to produce his wife, namely, Mrs.Shobha Sreenivasan, before this Court and to set her at liberty.
3. It has been stated that the petitioner had married the detenue on 09.11.1986, at Guruvayur temple, in Kerala, as per the Hindu rites and customs. Thereafter, they had been living together in the matrimonial home happily. While so, the detenue gone to visit her brother at Kolkata and from 29.03.2016, there was no contact between the petitioner and the detenue. In such circumstances, the petitioner has filed the present Habeas Corpus Petition.
4. Today, when the matter had been listed for hearing, the respondent police had produced her before this Court. On enquiry, she had stated that she had gone to Kolkata to meet her brother. While so, the petitioner has preferred the present Habeas Corpus Petition. She had further stated that she has come back from Kolkata and that she is willing to go along with the petitioner, who is her husband.
In such circumstances, as no further orders are necessary, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed permitting the detenue to go along with the petitioner.
