Heard both sides:
2. The plaintiff in O.S.No.2482 of 2013 on the file of the XVII Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the trial Court to dispose of the suit within a time frame.
3. The plaintiff filed a suit in O.S.No.2482 of 2013 for permanent injunction. The defendant filed his written statement and is contesting the suit.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/plaintiff submitted that the evidence on the side of the plaintiff was closed and the suit is posted for the examination of defendant's side evidence.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in view of long pendency of the matter, the plaintiff is put to hardship and prejudice.
6. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the XVII Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.2482 of 2013 on merits and in accordance with the law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With these observations, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
