Petitioner claims himself to hold a Cold Storage license which is stated to be renewed every year.
The learned counsel has filed the renewal receipts of the years 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. He submits that he applied for renewal of license for the year 2019 also but the licensing authority i.e. the District Magistrate has not passed any order.
In case the petitioner fulfills the criteria and is eligible and has complied with the terms and conditions of the license, his claim for renewal of license be considered after following the prescribed procedure within one month from the date he files his application.
The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly in terms of the above directions.
